Our strength

Responding to the diverse metal parts needs of our customers with
"comprehensive power"

We will meet the needs of our customers to the maximum extent with our numerous track record in mold design,
mold manufacturing, and heading (forging) within Arai Parts and our excellent production management system.

We provide high-precision and high-quality products in close cooperation with each department and reliable outsourcing partners.

Flexible proposals considering the number of processes, delivery date, cost, etc. Strengths of Arai PartsProposition Technology / Quality Productivity

Solving customer issues with innovation and technological know-how
Propositional strength of Arai Parts

Arai Parts has offices and factories in Japan, as well as offices in China and the United States.
We have organized teams to collaborate between international offices. By sharing the technology and know-how cultivated locally at each office, we aim to make proposition that will meet customer needs in any market.

  • Proposal of optimal solutions between bases, from product processing to logistics.
  • We take hands-on approach from the development stage and respond to the needs of VA / VE proposals.
  • Visiting customers and holding forging briefings and exhibitions.

Contactless remote support with distant customers is also possible.

VA / VE proposal

At Arai Parts, we select optimal material, propose the parts composition, select the processing method, and propose the shape to meet the customer's needs, which leads to cost reduction, labor reduction, and productivity improvement. We make proposals for solutions with the technical capabilities of Arai Parts.

VA / VE case study

Integration of 2 parts "Cost + labor reduction"

Change of parts composition "Proposal of mass-produced parts configuration"

Change of construction method "Strength / productivity improvement, cost reduction"

Shape change "Shape proposal that satisfies product performance"

Material change "Reduction of material cost & processing cost"

Voice of employees "I want to compete with 'value-added proposals' that are unrivaled by other companies."

Nagoya Sales Office, Gaku Ishikawa

Sales are the "face" of the company that comes into contact with the customer closest to them.
First of all, we talk with the customer and try to grasp the problems or requests that the customer has. We then take those requests back to the company, decide the optimum construction method and product specifications in consultation with the designer, and then propose it to the customers.

The reason why Arai Parts is selected in the face of fierce competition is the advanced product development capabilities and shortened delivery times that are created by designing and manufacturing of molds in-house.
Production of high value products with multi-station parts former, and product safety in terms of quality and delivery. Our advantage is also the global support we can provide utilizing our bases in China and the United States.

We differentiate ourselves from other companies by making full use of our strengths and increasing the options of our customers. These include proposals for cost saving changes and proposals for improving functions.

The real thrill of working in the sales team is when a new product with a difficult shape overcomes all the challenges and is successfully mass-produced.
I also feel joy when I realize that the products (automobiles and industrial equipment) that are equipped with our parts that I am involved in are useful for people's lives.

Proposal sales are jobs that require vast knowledge and sales capabilities.
I would like to continue to study and make proposals that only Arai parts can do.

Achieves quick delivery and high quality with refined technology and the latest inspection equipment.
Technical and quality capabilities of Arai Parts

Achieving short delivery time and high product quality through the refined know-how of engineers, preliminary analysis using forging simulation software, and original mold design and manufacturing.

  • Quality assurance of finished products by integrated production and the latest inspection equipment.
  • Achieve low cost and stable supplying with Japan quality.

Employee's voice "The final fort to protect the quality of Arai parts."

Quality Control Divison, Aoi Watanabe

Quality work can be broadly divided into two categories: "quality assurance" and "quality control". Quality assurance involves inspecting the products shipped to customers for problems, and if any problems occur, the causes will analyzed in order to prevent reocurrence. Quality control refers to the management of process flow from production to shipment in order to prevent defects.

In order to raise quality awareness, we always keep in mind the following three principles: "being on site," "picking up the actual product," and "seeing the reality with our own eyes". We believe that there are many things that can be understood and seen by standing in the field and site ourselves.

Additionally, our products can only be completed with the cooperation of our partner companies. By communicating with our partner companies and building relationships of trust, we are continuously improving quality and productivity.

Customer demands for quality are becoming higher year after year.
In particular, special parts used in automobiles have very high quality standards.
In order to meet the customer's quality needs, we would like to further strengthen the inspection and quality assurance system to firmly protect the quality of Arai Parts that we have cultivated.

The number of equipments we hold is one of the most in Japan and we are fully equipped with the latest equipment to support advanced processing
Arai parts production capacity

Boasting one of the largest number of heading and threading equipment in Japan (115 units in total), we not only supply mass-produced products to mega-suppliers, but also meet the diverse needs of our customers.

  • We own equipment (9-station parts former, etc.) that other companies do not have, and can handle high-precision, complex-shaped products.
  • In-house integrated system is possible (heading and thread rolling are done in-house, and other processes are requested to cooperating manufacturers).
  • Along with domestic procurement, local procurement from overseas (China / USA) bases is possible also.
  • Stable supplying capacity through collaboration between oversea bases and partner companies.
  • Obtained ISO14001. Implementing efforts to protect the environment and respond to changing environmental conditions while balancing socio-economic needs.

Employee's voice "I want to expand the possibilities of cold heading and evolve manufacturing."

Tsukuba Manufacturing Department,
Shinichi Kobayashi

I am currently involved in all manufacturing processes, from designing the heading process to mold designing, heading machine operation, trial production, and mass production.

When I work, I always keep in mind the time, cost, quality, productivity, and finding ways to improve all of those aspects.
The method you think of will improve your productivity and quality, and you will be able to take on more challenges.
That is the real thrill of manufacturing, and it is the driving force to reach further height.

Cold heading is a very effective manufacutirng method to meet the needs of users who want to process complicated shapes in a short time and at a low cost.
Fortunately, we have a wide variety of parts formers, and among them, the 9-station parts former is a state-of-the-art machine that only a few companies have in Japan.
Heading can process material into a more complicated shape in one process, and the material waste generated in the secondary and tertiary processing can be reduced.

The history of cold heading is still short, and it has numerous possibilities.
I would like to aim for further evolution by accumulating daily knowledge and combining it with the technology cultivated since the company was founded.

The manufacturing industry is becoming more mechanized and automated, but there are still jobs that only humans can perform.
That is the fun and rewarding part of manufacturing and that is what I want to convey to the younger generation.
