Shot blast

Removes burrs and foreign matter,
smoothes the surface of the product and suppresses the progress of rust.

Outline and purpose of shot blasting

Shot blasting is a processing method that accelerates fine projection material with compressed air or centrifugal force and sprays or hits it against the surface of metal to remove deburring, foreign matter, rust, and other stains on the processed product.

The projectile plays an important role in determining the quality of the finish.
There are steel shots, aluminum shots, glass beads, etc. We typically use glass beads.

The feature of the glass bead projection material is that it can be blasted without soiling the surface of the product. Since the amount of grinding of the target product is smaller than that of other projection materials, it is widely used for polishing, cleaning, finishing, etc.
